Lagoon

OUR LAGOON AREA

Our lagoon is a very beautiful area with so much to do.

Canoes & Paddles

Our lagoon is amazing for flat water canoeing. With a beautiful scenery, calm waters and semi private space, taking a canoe out on to the lagoon has always been a popular activity among our guests. Canoes and paddles are available from security at no charge, on a refundable deposit system.

Sunset Cruises

The Puza Cruza sunset cruise is a firm favourite with our guests. Notices are put up when the the cruise will be available due to it being dependent on the water level in the lagoon. Qualified skippers Ian or Devan take the sunset cruise up the lagoon and even point out the indigenous  bushman paintings .

Volleyball & Jungle Gym

We have a permanent full size volleyball court for anyone that would like to test their skills, although we do have planned park volleyball tournaments as part of our entertainment program, the court is always available to use. We also have a wonderful jungle gym for the kids to play on that include swings, slides, etc. The jungle gyms proximity to the volley ball court makes it a great area for the adults to play while still being able to watch the kids.

Fishing

We also have a variety of small fresh water fish living in the lagoon for the avid fisherman. Fish include telapia, bass, barble and grunter. Although we do not rent out fishing rods and tackle, we do have a fishing section in our shop that sells everything you might need including rods, hooks, line, floats and bait.

Braai Area

Why not end a wonderful day on the south coast with a sunset braai down at the lagoon. We have two permanent braais available for use at anytime, just bring your own charcoal, meat and drinks.

Pier

We also have our lovely pier going over the lagoon which is great for fishing and watching the sunset. The Pier is built on the structure of the old railway bridge that used to run directly through the caravan park. It is great place to watch the famous barn Swallow migration during the Spring and Summer months.
