Hi everyone

As ever time has flown,  I don’t know if everyone agrees, but this year has been  the fastest ever.

We do hope your year has been a good one.  Ours certainly has, with little Rosie giving us all so much pleasure – Devan and Candy’s daughter. Great news is that there is to be a little brother late February.  Other new additions are Toffee and Benji our two little daschunds, as sadly we said goodbye to Dusty early in February.

Unlike many parts of the country we have been blessed with enough rain to keep us lovely and green,  However, we still need to conserve water, so please help us in this respect.

A programme of daily activities is included below .  This is subject to change with notice! so please just watch the notice boards, in all ablutions blocks & outside shop.  Alternatively please log onto www.macnicol.co.za to check out our daily happenings.

For anyone new to our park (and of course everyone else!)

TEA is served daily at 10.30 and 3.30 at the pool, with scones at the morning tea.  We would love you to join us.

BRAAI FIRES are made every night, also at the Tig and Oil, to be ready at 7.

NDESINGANE TRUCK  leaves at 10 every morning and returns at 12.   If you prefer to go on your own, please get a permit from our security at the gate.  There is a R100 refundable deposit.  PLEASE RETURN THESE AS SOON AS YOU GET BACK as the numbers are limited, if not returned, we will have to fetch it from you & you would forfeit your deposit. 

LIFESAVERS will be on the beach during the day, 8 to 5, but as ever, please treat the sea with the utmost respect.

TRAINS – Although there are very few trains going past, please impress upon your children, the need to check.

SPORTS EQUIPMENT  Table tennis bats, paddles, and other sports equipment is available on a refundable deposit basis from security at the gate.

SHOP, TAKEAWAY AND OFFICE HOURS The shop is open every day from 8.15 to 5, except on Christmas Day when it is only open until 12.  The takeaway is from11 to 3 every day except Christmas.  Office is open 8.15 to 4 except Christmas and New Year (closed between 12:45 to 1:45 for lunch) AFTER HOURS NUMBER is 0763534860 if you have a problem.

 As with any establishment with a lot of people living in a comparatively small space, we unfortunately do need to have rules.  You will have been given a general information and rules brochure on arrival.  Please, for everyone’s sake, adhere to these.  Please remember the Pier is out of bounds after 10.30 .  You will also have received our brochure of Things To See and Do in the area,  However, if there is anything we can help you with, please shout.  There is a list of doctors, dentists etc in the ablution blocks, but please, in an emergency contact us to assist.
